Death in Vegas -- Rocco (Sing for a Drink Mix)

Going down "The Strip" in Las Vegas, NV to the music of Rocco (Sing for a Drink Mix) by British act Death in Vegas. The footage is not mine, but inserted as the alternative would be a static image. Besides, I think it goes pretty well together with the music -- especiall in this somewhat sped up version. This track can be found on the "City of Industry" original motion picture soundtrack while the version found on DiV's debut album "Dead Elvis" is an inferior dub version.

FLCL - AMV - MSI - MultiMix

This is representatively my first published AMV, it is a Fooly Cooly Meet Mindless Self Indulgence. In a way i dont think ive seen yet, MSI has released multple versions of there more recent hit songs. I took advantage of this, and sliped in three different (re)mix's. This video is a three part act on both the music and the clips. The Acts are called to change with the change of the music. Act one: opening, a slow intro into the video with the first remix: Birthday Massacre Remix. The second Act is to the music of Death Mix, and is the summoning and eventual fight over the power. And finally the third Act, the (fl)climax, is the relase of the power, which has it's music from the straight to video remix: Assemblage 23. Note there is a last chnage of music, at the end with the credits, it is the end of the Death Mix and it helped to quiet things down. (I also know that the change from Act two to Act three is a alittle jumpy sorry, as well as the fact that a Green line on the right side is there during alot of the effects) The clips are taken from episode one two and 6 in that order. Production took about two hours, this included the arrangement of the clips to the music. After-Production took about four hours, which was: adding effects, titles and credits and a little editing of timings. The video has different effects added to the clips and the three different songs are slightly over lapped. The effects used are: Hue Cycle, Sepis Tone, Fade In & Out(of white and black), Mirror Vertical and Horizontal, and Spin 360. This amv was created with WMM, it contains Clips from the Anime: Fooly Cooly (property of Gainax Studio) And music from: Mindless Self Indulgence (property of MSI). I hereby State (it is in the video as well) that the Arrangement of said Clips and Music,(both within public domain, and not the footage or sounds themselves,) is mine. (c) Copyright 2007 toofuairi. Metal Gear Solid 2 - Emma's Death (Complete) Part 1

Again, another scene that had been chopped up in the files I downloaded. I mean, they cut Otacon going "But what's wrong with E.E.?" for crying out loud! They also cut one of Otacon's few monologues (which is in part two) that I thought was especially important too, so HERE WE ARE. This is such gratuitous angst piled on Otacon for no reason. It actually almost makes me angry. Otacon has enough angst to deal with just by creating Metal Gear REX and being semi-responsible for the MetalGear!Cold War, christ. Even then, I mean, his stepsister dying? Okay, I can deal with that, that's cruel but whatever. His stepsister having a crush on him? Okay, that's pushing it, but it's still tolerable. BUT THEN KOJIMA THROWS IN THE WHOLE SLEPT WITH MY STEPMOTHER INCESTUOUS SEXUAL ABUSE AND IT'S LIKE WTF STOP IT STOP IT STOP IT THIS IS SO GRATUITOUS AND RANDOM AND IT'S SUCH BLATANT RETCONNING OTACON NEVER ACTS LIKE THIS EVER HAPPENED TO HIM AND ARHADG Pet peeve with mgs2 sorry. I love how awkward Snake and Raiden's reactions are to Otacon's sobbing in this. They're just totally out of their depth.

Maurice Gibb, his twin Robin and elder brother Barry, started their singing careers in the 1950s in the UK, earning their name from a previous incarnation as the Brothers Gibb. Following a spell in Australia, where they gained their first recording contract, they returned to the UK in 1967 to critical acclaim. Their distinctive, close-harmony singing became their trademark and survived musical fashion and family rifts. Their hits include the soundtrack to the film of the disco phenomenon, Saturday Night Fever, in 1977 and a sequel, Stayin' Alive, in 1983. Saturday Night Fever saw some of the group's most successful tracks such as Stayin' Alive, How Deep Is Your Love and Night Fever. In 1987, after several years of writing and producing acts as diverse as Barbra Streisand and Dolly Parton, they were again at the top of the charts with You Win Again. Their last album together was in 2001, entitled This Is Where I Came In. They were each awarded CBEs in the 2002 New Year Honours List. This is a report from SKY NEWS on the death of Maurice.

Carry on Wayward Son & Hybrid Ice Rocks Lightstreet Carnival

"Surely heaven didn't need to wait for us last night as we had a little taste of the promised land served up by Hybrid Ice. Even though it is not exactly heaven here in Lightstreet, Pennsylvania, we came pretty close when Hybrid Ice took to the stage. Hybrid Ice, once described by bassist Jeff Willoughby as "The most famous, unknown band in the world," rocked the entire Fishing Creek valley last night. Hybrid Ice is famous in the sense that it seems that everyone has heard or heard of them from Pennsylvania to Florida to the Midwestern States to Stockholm, Sweden and all the way to Sofia, Bulgaria. The band is unknown in the sense that, despite their independent success, they were never signed to a major label. The 2008 edition of the Lightstreet volunteer fireman's carnival rocked from the opening night's Pet and Toy Parade to closing night's electrifying performance by Hybrid Ice. The whole world might not know this band, but here in Lightstreet, these guys in classic "Rock Concert" form, proved to Central Pennsylvania that they are no teenage wasteland when it comes to putting on a scintillating classic rock show.
